On Wednesday, February 21 from five to eight p.m., the Culver’s in Chelsea will donate a portion of their day’s sales to the Stockbridge FFA.
“The reason we chose [to participate in this on] Wednesday, February 21 is because that’s National FFA week,” FFA and robotics teacher Robert Richards said.
Although it took years for Share Night to work out because of COVID-19, Richards is glad that the FFA can start fundraising.
“Culver’s has a long history of working with the FFA nationwide and sponsoring FFA events and scholarships, so it’s a natural fit,” Richards said.
Richards isn’t the only one who believes that Share Night is beneficial to the students. Senior and FFA officer and president Clarissa Hill expresses why she thinks Share Night is important.
“Culver’s Share Night benefits the FFA by offering a fundraiser activity for our [FFA] Chapter and informing people about FFA,” Hill said.
In addition to Share Night, FFA will participate in their own week. On Friday, February 23, students outside of FFA can also wear blue on Friday to show their support.
