Y-28. Cover
Entry should show cover and spine design. Do not submit stock covers. FOR THE ENTRY TITLE, use your theme. You may include a brief description of your theme in the Additional Information field. Extensive work by a professional graphic artist should be described in the “Non Student Work Copyright” field. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER SCHOOL. Submit cover as one PDF file, if possible creating a single horizontal page out of the cover, spine and back cover. Otherwise the judges may not see all of your cover together and will not get the full impact of your design. Schools are strongly encouraged to send a copy of their book to MIPA for judging purposes. Some cover techniques do not have the same impact on a PDF file. Due to the pandemic and remote contest judging for this year, we are not encouraging advisers to send us a book for the individual contest. This category will be judged via digital materials only. If you have sent us a book, we can return it to you when we ship award certificates.
