She Said
Most have heard of billionaire and famed “Celebrity Apprentice” star Donald J. Trump and his recent campaign for president. It’s no wonder, since he has been plastered over almost every news station. But that is surely not for any brilliant and inspiring speeches. It’s more for his pompous, egotistical personality and brazen disregard for decency in creating obscenely discriminatory remarks and ideals.
Hopefully, his ratings in the polls have not soared due to his actual political appeal but be-cause his vile behavior is so comically entertaining. For example, in response to a question on immigration, he used the “delightful” phrase “America is go-ing to hell.” He believes that all 11 million illegal immigrants are not only taking away 11 million jobs, but creating a visible crime wave in America. But evidence tells us that many illegals are taking low wage jobs that a majority of Americans citizens are unwilling to do. Furthermore, while there is admittedly an increase in illegal immigrants involved in the trade of narcotics, he is claiming that all of the immigrants are savage criminals coming here just to murder and steal. How stereotypical, shallow and presumptuous. Most immigrants are look-ing to get a job and support their family, not deal drugs.
No
Trump may be some people’s favorites, but is he legitimate?
It comes as no surprise that Trump has built so many enemies during this media frenzy, yet horrifyingly, some of those people see him as the face of the Republican party as a whole. If they would look away from the Trump spotlight, they might be able to see a much more grounded and fitting Republican candidate: Marco Rubio. While some Democrats and others want to portray the Republican party as a group of bloodsucking monsters from a Dracula movie which Donald Trump personifies, there are reasonable alternatives, One is Rubio.
It is easy to see the difference between Rubio and Trump. On the topic of immigration, simply compare Trump’s plan to fix immigration to Rubio’s ideal. Trump has schemed to very “simply” build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. But don’t worry, folks; he promised there will be doors on this wall of his.
The second part of his immigration plan, after he has built his “big, beautiful wall” mind you, is to exercise mass deportation of all those that have already entered the U.S. illegally, including all so-called “anchor babies.” This is highly illogical, considering that it would take years and lots of money to forcibly pull people out of their homes, and it goes against the Constitution itself. The 14th amendment states that all people born in the U.S. are official citizens, no matter what.
Compare this to Rubio’s plan which is to first secure the border (and set up e-verify) and fix the legal immigration system. He sup-ports a path to citizenship and told The Washington Post that Americans will be ‘very generous but responsible.’ He would require that illegal immigrants go through a background check, pay a fine, and pay taxes. After at least a decade, they could then apply for permanent residency, and several years thereafter apply for citizenship.
Take a second to com-pare this fair compromise to Trump’s blunt hammer blow. It helps that Rubio’s parents were immigrants from Cuba, and he knows the powers of the American Dream firsthand. The very fact that Marco Rubio knows how important it is to accept immigrants into America’s culture, while the helmet-head Trump does not, serves to amplify how radical Trump appears in the Republican Party and how radical he actually is.
He Said
If you don’t already know, Donald J. Trump is, not only a multibillionaire, but he is running as a Republican in the 2016 presidential election.
Donald Trump was born in Queens, New York, on June 14, 1946, to Fred and Mary Anne Trump. Trump’s family was very wealthy, which gave him a good head start in life. That is one reason why he has made it so far in this campaign. Being rich helps you run for president.
All candidates need money to fund their campaigns. The money usually comes from donations from people who like them. Well, since Trump is a billionaire, he can say whatever he wants and fund his own campaign. But his blunt speech has actually attracted a lot of support, so he is getting funding from others as well now.
Even more surprising, Trump hasn’t had to spend that much money. He gets so much media coverage just from the words that come out of his mouth that he doesn’t have to pay for it. Accord-ing to Politico, he’s spent significantly less than the Democratic frontrunner, Hillary Clinton. There is one reason why so many people, including me, think he is the best candidate. He says what he means.
For example, Trump thinks abortion is wrong. It’s killing babies before they are born. Imagine a little puppy. It’s so cute, right? This little baby puppy can be yours. But it’s not. It’s dead. It never had a chance to do anything. It’s just killed.
Yes
Donald Trump will make America Great Again
It never had a chance to do anything. It’s just killed. That’s exactly what abortion is to me. But Donald Trump knows it’s wrong and isn’t afraid to say so. This topic is a little more weird. But of course, If Hillary Clinton likes it, that’s too be expected. It’s the topic of gay marriage. Gay marriage is the recent Supreme Court ruling that same-sex people can get married to each other. Many Christian religions disagree with this. America was founded on Christianity, was it not? On the coins and dollars of the American money it says: In God We Trust. Just saying.
In my view, as a Republican, and a Christian I wish Donald Trump the best of luck to make America great again. He himself expects nothing less. “I am no stranger to working hard,” he told the media. “I have done it all my life. As a result I have become accustomed to expecting success in everything I do”
Donald Trump will be a great president who will bring America back to its full potential after the failure of Barack Obama’s eight years.
