CRITERIA<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Begin with strong leads, not name or title<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contain at least two sentences that answer all reader\u2019s questions without stating the obvious<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evidence of adequate research which provides information that adds to reader\u2019s understanding of event or situation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clearly identifies all people in photo with both first and last names (sports captions should also identify names of players on opposing team)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adhere to rules of good journalism including: active voice, typically the first sentence in present tense and remaining sentences are in past tense, freedom
