I even left the store without them, but they never seemed to leave my mind.

A week later, I found myself right where I started staring at a familiar can with an unfamiliar design and a strange flavor.

Instead of leaving empty handed I found myself at the Target checkout aisle with a $1.49 five oz can of Pringles in hand.

The next day while talking to my teacher, I told her about my Target experience. This lead to a thirty-minute conversation and three different people Googling everything we could about Kellog’s curious chip which, we learned, is scientifically curved to fit one’s tongue, maximising the contact of the crisp with one’s taste buds.

Did you know that since 1968 they’ve been one of the top selling chips and 4th highest potato chip in the entire world and distributed to over 100 different countries?

Did you know their name originally was the Newfangled Potato Chips? Their creator, Alexander Liepa, picked the name out of a Cincinnati telephone book.

From Bangkok Grilled Chicken Wing, Blueberry & Hazelnut New York Street Cheese Dog, we found out that Pringles has 101 different flavors. Another strange ones were Seawood, Soft-Shelled crab, and Tiger Prawn and Crushed Garlic

We even got into a debate as to whether Pringles were considered potato chip; however, not a single flavor is gluten free. Weird, right? I mean it’s a potato, so how can it not be, but it’s true.

In each chip there is only 42% potato content. The rest is made up of wheat starch and a combination of corn, rice. vegetable oils, salt, and seasoning.

Finally, we opened up the can of Extra Hot Chili and Lime Pringles which started all of this.

With a little spice at first, the bite was balanced with a sweetness. I was super surprised with how they tasted. I didn’t expect them to be so good but what surprised me most was how a single can of America’s favorite chips could cause such an in depth conversation

By Delaine Lucas The Citadel Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy 1st Place Division 4, News Writing Review JUDGING CRITERIA Sharp, attention-getting lead that clarifies subject Gives a short summary or adequate information about subject Discusses strengths and weaknesses of subject Uses specific examples to support opinion Displays knowledge of subject Shows thought and research Colorful, lively […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[4,56
175,23
0":"post-4603","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-nw","8":"category-review","9":"tag-2019-20","10":"tag-division4","11":"entry

https://i0.wp.com/acutabove.mipamsu.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/NW-082pringles.jpg?resize=600%2C400&ssl=1
https://i0.wp.com/acutabove.mipamsu.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/NW-082pringles.jpg?resize=600%2C600&ssl=1
https://i0.wp.com/acutabove.mipamsu.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/NW-082pringles.jpg?fit=2150%2C2375&ssl=1
["GET
